Take advantage of our extensive embassy and consular database to find the nearest one. Upon contacting the embassy confirm the required documents, the time it takes to process the visa and whether the consulate accepts applications by mail.
The Bahrain e-tourist visa is issued to nationals from e-visa eligible countries who want to spend their holidays or tour the historic and fun spots in the Kingdom. This visa is available online and allows the holder to stay for some time, depending on their nationality, which may be between 14 days or up to 6 months (for Canadian citizens). The e-tourist visa may be single or multiple entries based on the validity. This visa does not allow you to work throughout your stay as it Is solely for leisure, and you must leave the Kingdom on or before the last day of grace.
If you wish to stay for a little longer than your visa will allow, you must apply for an extension before your current visa expires. The immigration office in charge of your case at the Nationality, Passport & Residence Affairs (NPRA) office will decide how many extra days to offer.
Note: Once the e-visa is approved, it will be forwarded to your verified email address.
The e-visa is linked to your passport, but you should print it out and travel with it to Bahrain.
You can use the tourist e-visa to enter Bahrain through any of these routes
It is advised to apply at least 10 days before the intended entry date.
Passport copy. A clear scan of the information pages of your valid, signed passport with at least 6 months remaining validity.
Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or detailed itinerary for the duration of the trip (Applicant’s name must be on itinerary).
Hotel Reservation. Copy of hotel booking in Kingdom of Bahrain. Alternately, in case you are staying with a relative/friend, please provide a copy of their ID reader’s print out.
Valid visa. Copy of a valid visit visa to UAE, UK, USA, KSA (excluding Hajj & Umrah visa), Schengen or USA Green Card
Company bank statement. Copy of a bank statement under the visitor’s name covering the last three months with an ending balance of not less than the equivalent of USD 1000.
